Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. The two older sisters were raised together, and she often faced bullying in school because of the dimensions of her thighs. In 2007, she had an interview with Sally Singer of "Vogue" magazine. This gave her one of her very first major breaks. Graham then made an appearance in Glamour magazine's 2009 edition of "These Bodies Look Beautiful at all sizes". Graham became a media sensation after she appeared as a model in the controversial Lane Bryant commercial. The commercial was ultimately taken down in a number of countries. She even appeared as a guest on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno to address the subject after it had gotten out of control. Graham rose quickly to fame and became the most well-known and popular models of plus size. Grande started singing and acting as a child. In 2008, she got a part on her first Broadway show 13, and started appearing in TV roles of a smaller size. Her big break was in 2010, when she was offered a part on the Nickelodeon show Victorious. The show featured her as Cat Valentine a teenage girl studying at a school for performing arts. Sam & Cat was the spin-off from her sitcom which ran on the air in 2013 following its cancellation. was removed from the air.
