Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She is currently a fighter with the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her younger sister and a fellow UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as an Muay Thai kickboxer. She debuted in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina then won the Silver Medal in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008 and a gold medal in the year 2011, and as the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia started her professional journey when she was in the year 2003. She has taken home numerous championships, including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Champion, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships and WMC as well as Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's last fight was at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was victorious by unanimity. Antonina Shevchenko broke her professional MMA record in 2002 at KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She took the title with a TKO during the 2nd round and then won her two fights following, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko had a brief absence from MMA and devoted her time to kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko won against Anissa by a unanimous vote before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina showed off her power of striking by tying Nievera using knees. Antonina Shevchenko received an UFC contract after the victory. Antonina Shychenko made her debut in the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne modafferi by split decision following her debut fight. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss, and defeated Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke and won the fight of the night bonus in the fight. Shevchenko lost 1-2 in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Then, Antonina fell to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos against.
